Sadie Catherine Snider Anthony, age 80, passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 at her residence in Water Valley, MS. She retired from Big Yank Corporation in Water Valley, MS. and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Water Valley, MS.
The visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon, August 27, 2006, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2006. The committal will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Ronnie Snider, Michael Snider, William Turner, Don York, Larry Anthony, Bob Ford, and Gray Snider serving as pallbearers.
She is survived by four daughters, Kathy Warren of Water Valley, MS; Sandra Haymie of Oxford, MS; Teresa Reinemann of Batesville, MS; and Ramona Anthony of Ocean Springs, MS; three sons, Sammy Anthony of Water Valley, MS; Jimmy Anthony of Batesville, MS; and Terry Anthony of Water Valley, MS; two sisters, Mildred Nelson of Pope, MS and Jeanette Lipscomb of Huntsville, AL; two brothers, James “Buddy” Snider of Crawfordsville, AR and Edwin Snider of Metairie, LA; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Anthony was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis B. Anthony (May 10, 2002); parents, Arthur Lister and Rachel Davis Snider; and brother, Leon Snider.
