Louise D. (Lemieux) Welch Kelliher, 70, died Tuesday, August 22, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston after a short battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Thomas L. Kelliher Jr. Born in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton Schools. Mrs. Kelliher was a resident of Easton for over 40 years.
She is survived by her children, Michele Blanchard, David V. Welch Jr., Dennis Welch and Colleen Pino all of Easton, Janine Welch of FL and Thomas L. Kelliher III of Walpole. She was the daughter of Helen (Condon) Lemieux of Duxbury and the late Arthur Lemieux. Mrs. Kelliher was the sister of David Lemieux and Jane Lemieux both of Whitman, Mary Fitzgerald of Duxbury, Judy Kent of Humarock, Ellen Waldrep of NC, Anne Howard of VA and the late Arthur “Sonny” Lemieux and Billy Lemieux. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Easton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM. Donations in Louise’s name may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 1 Harvard St., Brookline MA 02146. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton.
