Obituary

Ralph D. Angstadt. Age 71. Husband of the late Elizabeth Ann(Cabral)Angstadt.
Residence 2759 No. Main St., Fall River, MA. Died Monday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Earl Township, PA. Son of the late Stewart H. Angstadt and the late Edna Drumheller) Angstadt. He was a Fall River resident since 1969. He was a Rigger and Pipe fitter at Newport Naval Base for 16 years from 1972-1988. Lastly, he was a Custodian at Freetown-Lakeville School District from 1988-1995, retiring in 1995. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran with rank of Chief Boatswain’s Mate serving during both the Korean Conflict and Viet Nam Era, retiring in 1971 after 20 years. He loved deer hunting and restored and showed his Classic Trucks.

He is survived by One Son: Ernest S. Angstadt of Attleboro, MA. Four Daughters: Patricia A. Fusaro of Fall River, MA, Kathleen M. Rezendes of Warren, RI, Margaret. A. Dorgan of S. Daytona, FL and Judith M. Angstadt of Fall River, MA. One Brother: Kenneth Angstadt of Oley, PA. One Sister: Anna Marie Kerschner of Blandon, PA. Six Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, Ma. on Saturday at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 9:00 AM. Internment in Newport Memorial Park. There are no Friday calling hours. Flowers are welcome, or donations to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA. 01701-4688.
