Sheila P. Muti, 26, of Manchester, NH died August 19, 2006 at her home. She was born in Newton, MA on August 24, 1979, a daughter of Alan and Adrienne (Baldwin) Muti. A resident of Derry since the age of five, she attended local schools and graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1997. She attended N.H. Community Technical College and studied early childhood education. She taught kindergarten at the Nutfield Community YMCA in Londonderry for one year and was also employed as a waitress at Not Your Average Joe’s Restaurant in Methuen, MA. Sheila loved children and enjoyed karaoke, Texas Hold ‘em poker and red wine.
In addition to her parents of Derry, NH, she is survived by two sisters, Patricia Sockey of Hollis, NH and Alexa Muti of Manchester; a brother, Douglas Muti of Derry; a nephew; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours were on Thursday, August 24th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Following cremation, a graveside service was held Saturday, August 26th at 10 AM in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nutfield Community YMCA, 206 Rockingham Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053.
