NORTH TEWKSBURY - Valerie Z. (Kazarosian) Nahabedian, age 77, a former civilian
employee at Hanscom A.F.B. , who was also a substitute teacher in Tewksbury, died Tuesday
morning, August 22, at the Tewksbury Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of
William “Bill” Nahabedian, who died on May 5, 1993.
She was born in Haverhill, on January 6, 1929, the daughter of the late Harry and Veron
(Antaramian) Kazarosian. She was raised in Haverhill, but moved to North Tewksbury in 1957.
She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, and went on to the Chamberlain School in Retailing
in Boston. She later earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the Western
New England College.
She began her career as a retail buyer in Boston. She later worked in the Tewksbury public school
department as a substitute teacher. She then worked as a civil employee at Hanscom Air Force
Base in Bedford as a contract administrator, for 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Audrey M. Nahabedian of Tewksbury Diane
S. Nahabedian and her husband Paul Carroll of Milton, MA; one grandson, Alexander Carroll; a
brother and two sisters-in-law, Atty. Paul Kazarosian and his wife Margaret of Haverhill, and
Helen Kazarosian of Westboro; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Mark Kazarosian, and Vahe Kazarosian.
Her funeral service was held on Friday, August 25, in the funeral home. Burial wwas in St. Mary’s Cemetery, No. Tewksbury. Memorials to the Tewksbury Hospital, Patient Fund, c/o Administration, 365 East
