Obituary

MILLBURY____Leila G. (Turner) Kmicinski, 71, of 32 Providence St., died peacefully Friday August 18 in the Hospice Residence at Coes Pond, Worcester surrounded by family and friends.

She leaves her husband, Alex J. Kmicinski, three sisters-in-law, Barbara Aldrich, Irene Mahoney and Dolores Putnam, all of Worcester and is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of Harold A. and Frances (Mackie) Turner and has lived in Millbury 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother.

Mrs. Kmicinski was a bookkeeper many years and most recently worked for Abrasives and Tools in Auburn before she retired. She was a U.S. Womens Army Corps veteran and served as a Corporal during the Korean War.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday August 22 with a service at 10:00 a.m. in HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bosler Humane Society, P.O.
