Joseph F. Pipitone, 81 of Methuen formerly of Concord and the West End of Boston, age 81, August 17, surrounded by the love and presence of his family. Adored husband of 60 years to Anna (Maranto) Pipitone. Devoted father of Louis Pipitone and his wife Pat of Hooksett, NH, Joanne Cavallaro and her husband Joe of North Andover, Elaine Ivester and her husband Kevin of Methuen. Cherished grandfather of Erin, Jenn, Joe and Matthew. Dear brother of Pat Pipitone and his wife Ruth, Nancy Ventura all of New Hampshire and the late late Francis Barrakatt. Lovingly survived by his wife’s family, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Joseph was the son of the late Josephine (Messana) and Louis Pipitone. Mr. Pipitone worked at Hanscom Field for the Federal Government from 1962 to 1987 when he retired. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 68 Cardinal O'Connell Way, Boston, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
