Obituary

Nicole Corinne (Prince) Cutler, a resident of Tewksbury, MA, passed away peacefully on Easter morning, April 20, 2025, at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA, after a courageous battle with Stage 4 breast cancer with leptomeningeal disease. She was the beloved wife of Troy D. Cutler. They were married on September 15, 2023.

Nicole was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 2, 1991, the cherished daughter of Charles A. Prince, Jr. and Laura M. (Demirjian) Prince. She was a graduate of Saint Anselm College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University.

Nicole began her nursing career at Tufts Medical Center, where she worked in the MICU, COVID ICU, and NICU units. She later joined Massachusetts General Hospital, serving patients with compassion and dedication as a Lung Transplant Coordinator. Her work was a reflection of her deep commitment to helping others, and she was immensely proud to be a nurse.

Nicole carried a deep pride in her Armenian heritage, which was a core part of who she was. One of her most treasured memories was traveling to Armenia with her family, where she felt a profound connection to the culture, the land, and its people. She loved sharing that joy with others—whether through traditional Armenian dances, food, or simply the stories she held close to her heart.

In her free time, Nicole loved to travel internationally, go antiquing, make homemade pasta and desserts, spend time with her dogs Capri and Kona, and create beautiful spaces in her home. She treasured moments with close friends—her chosen family—and was known for her sharp wit, her warmth, and her remarkable ability to make others laugh and feel at ease.

Above all, Nicole was deeply devoted to her husband Troy. In their years together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and purpose—a partnership rooted in strength, friendship, and joy.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Nicole is survived by her maternal grandmother, Bertha Demirjian, and was predeceased by her grandfather, John Demirjian, as well as her paternal grandparents, Florence and Charles Prince. She leaves behind her uncles, Steven and John Demirjian; aunts, Susan Demirjian, Diane and her husband Gerard Coste, Denise and her husband Steve Pully, and Deborah and her husband Steve Hartsock; cousins, Paul Coste and his fiancée Samantha Jandl, Dan Coste and his wife Colleen, Carolyn Coste, and Brad Pully and his wife Rebecca, along with their daughters, Sofia and Trilby. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Kelly and David Cutler; sisters-in-law, Felicia Misner and her husband Michael, and Alexis Cutler; and many dear friends who were like family.

A private funeral service for Nicole’s family and close friends will be held at West Parish Garden Cemetery Chapel in Andover, MA. All others are warmly invited to attend a celebration of Nicole’s life, known in Armenian tradition as a Hokejash, on Friday, April 25th at 1:00 PM at LaBelle Winery in Derry, NH.

Instead of gifts or flowers, donations in Nicole’s memory may be made to:
– Holy Translators Armenian Church, Framingham, MA
– Holy Trinity Armenian Church, Cambridge, MA
– The Dana-Farber Kiki Fund, supporting research for leptomeningeal disease

Nicole’s life was defined by compassion, strength, beauty, and purpose. Her favorite quote was, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” She lived those words fully—and the world is better for it.
