Obituary

Bradley Wayne Hickman, of Tifton, GA, passed away at his home Sunday morning, April 20, 2025. Bradley (Brad), also known affectionately as "Big Mac" to a lot of his friends, was born in Fort Vally, GA, but moved to Tifton that same year and remained a life-long resident thereafter. He is a graduate of Tift County High School, Class of '87. He worked for many years at Union Camp, a former bag producer in Tifton's Industrial Park area. He was an avid car enthusiast, especially fond of classic Chevrolets such as the 1969 Camaro, which was his favorite. He was also a lover of dogs, and was known to share photos of himself with his favorite four-legged friends.

Brad is survived by his mother, Loretta Faye Hickman, of Tifton, and an older brother, Keith Lee Hickman, also of Tifton. In addition to immediate family, he had two nephews: Carlos Alexander (Alex) Hickman and Benjamin (Ben) Matthew Hickman. He is also survived by one great niece, LuElla Grace Hickman, the daughter of Alex Hickman and Hannah Hickman. He loved them all, as well as his many remaining relatives.

Services will take place graveside on Wednesday, April 23rd at Lawrence Cemetery, U.S. Hwy 82, east of Tifton in Vanceville, GA at 2 p.m. Brad will be carried to his final resting place by Zach Stone, Ben Hickman, Alex Hickman, Chad Mathis, Joe Tawzer, and Randy Hogan. Services will be preformed by Rev. Bobby Pittman.

Donations are being graciously collected by Missy Sweeney and will be gifted to Brad's mother to assist with funeral costs, and they are greatly appreciated.
