Obituary

Brendan Brady Curran passed on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. He was 29 years old. A life-long resident of Woburn, he was the son of Myles and Jean (Brady) Curran.

Brendan was an adventurous person. He loved snowboarding and skateboarding. Upon graduating from high school, he traveled out to Colorado to snowboard the Rocky Mountains. His adventurous personality and love for travel influenced his decision to become a proud member of the Ironworkers Union Local 7 of Boston, working as a journeyman ironworker with the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers, which allowed him to help reshape Boston’s skyline and travel throughout the Northeast to construct windmills. He truly embodied the brotherhood of Local 7 and formed many lasting friendships.

In addition to his beloved parents, Myles and Jean, Brendan leaves dear brothers, Joseph Kemp and David Curran. Brendan was a devoted grandson of Raymond and Maureen Brady of Medford, the late Geraldine Curran and the late Charles Curran and he also leaves his grandmother, Francine Curran of Cape Cod. Brendan was a loving nephew of Raymond and Elaine Brady, John and Judy Brady, David and Lorraine Brady, Bill and Julie Brady, the late Richard Drea, Diane Woods, Donna Drea, Pamela Curran and Geraldine McMenimen. Brendan also leaves many dear cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Friday, April 25th at Saint Raphael Church, 512 High St. Medford from 9 – 10 AM concluding with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Brendan’s name by making a memorial contribution to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
