Raul Velazquez passed away at Hartford Hospital on April 1, 2025. Raul was born on August 12, 1959, in Las Piedras Puerto Rico, the son of Petra Bentancourt and Pablo Velazquez. He survived with his siblings Maria Soto, Gladys Vargas, and Carmen Acosta. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews. His loved ones will miss him dearly, Raul also leaves uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and loved ones behind.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11a.m. to 1p.m. in the Chapel of the Hartford Community Funeral Home, 380 Maple Avenue Hartford. Burial will immediately follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery Bloomfield, CT.
