Obituary

Joseph E. Guerriero, 67, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, April 13. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen A. (Reed) Guerriero with whom he would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this upcoming August.

A son of the late Anthony P. Guerriero and the late Elizabeth (Castro) Guerriero, he was born on August 3, 1957 in Cambridge. He was raised and educated in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1975. Following his graduation he worked with Wang Labs and Digital/HP before his retirement

Joseph loved collectibles and enjoyed collecting a wide variety of antique collectibles. He was a gifted fisherman. He also loved music and attending concerts, he was Bob Seger’s #1 fan. He enjoyed cooking and was a big fan of the Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics.

Joe had a wonderful sense of humor and was outgoing and encouraging. His family was his world, especially his grandchildren. His beloved grandchildren are his legacy and through them he saw an echo of the best parts of himself. 

He is survived by his 4 children, Jamie E. Guerriero of Seattle, Washington, Joseph A. Guerriero and his wife, Elisa, of New Hampton, NH, Daniel J. Guerriero and his partner, Alize, of Mexico, Maine and Maxine Guerriero and her partner, Joseph, of Dracut; his 5 grandchildren Zachary, Ian, Desirey, Sean and Anthony; his beloved niece who always held a special place in his heart, Shannon Green and her husband, Keith, of Hudson, NH and their children, Gunnar and Keira; his brother, Anthony Guerriero; his God-Child, Leeann; his niece and nephew, Justine and Rick and their children; his aunt, Diana Castro of Virginia and his God-Mother Rose Hepp of Illinois and many dear cousins. Additionally he leaves behind his close friends, Priscilla and Marcos, Kelsey and Harold, Pam and Anna. He was predeceased by his precious and loyal dog, Harley.

All are welcome to attend his visitation and funeral. His visitation will be held on Monday, April 21 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA. His funeral service will be held the following Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Procession will follow for burial at Tyngsboro Cemetery.
