Obituary

CORNISH- Dorothy Mae Parker passed away on April 12, 2025, at The Gosnell House in Scarborough ME with her immediate family holding her hands as she walked proudly, with dignity, grace, and love in her heart into the afterlife.

Born May 22,1930 in Baldwin, ME. She married Clayton Harland Parker in 1946 then later building a home in Cornish where they lived for the remainder of their lives together raising four children and sharing countless family memories.

Although she was most happy to be home watching a Red Sox game or waiting to welcome her next visitor she also had an amazing sense of adventure taking many trips wherever and whenever she was given an opportunity to do so. From driving up to see the newly erected Penobscot Narrows Bridge, traveling to the Grand Canyon, standing atop the Quechee Gorge, or even a simple as a ride out to Bridgton just to enjoy the scenery. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Clayton in 1999, survived by her daughter Jacqueline Price of Baldwin , Son Dennis Parker and wife Patricia of Porter, son Harland Parker and wife Linda of Cornish, son Dean Parker of Limerick, grandchildren Shawn Price and wife Christine of Salem NH, grandson Craig Parker and wife Amanda of West Newfield, granddaughter Denise Davis and husband Gregory of Porter, granddaughter Lynn Michelle Gorham and husband Timothy of Cornish, granddaughter Ericka Paradis and husband George of Limerick, along with 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren

Private graveside service to be held at Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Cornish where she will finally be laid to rest beside her husband in eternal peace.
