Obituary

WEST BALDWIN- It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude that we announce the passing of Patrick Lee Dennison, a loving father, devoted grandfather, respected Marine, and humble servant to his family, community and his Lord Jesus Christ. He passed away on April 12, 2025 surrounded in the love of his family leaving behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and unwavering love after a long battle with cancer.

Born on March 13, 1957, with his twin sister Sherry, to Clifford and Olive Dennison, Pat grew up in Standish, Maine. After graduating from Bonny Eagle High School in 1975, he served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. His service was a reflection of his character as he carried the values of selfless duty, honor, and sacrifice throughout his life.

He married his wife Linda on August 09,1986 in Gorham, Maine. He was a man whose life was built on the foundation of strong values, compassion, and a sense of duty. As a father to biological, adopted, and fostered children, he provided a safe haven and guidance, touching the lives of countless young people. His home was a sanctuary of love, teaching children the true meaning of family, respect, integrity, and the value of hard work.

Pat not only worked as an HVAC technician for the family business Pine Tree Service Inc., but also managed it. He later became an entrepreneur and therapeutic foster parent. He was admired for being a practical jack of all trades with a commitment to “doing things right the first time”. He worked with seemingly tireless energy, and loved spending his days renovating homes or working on some sort of home improvement project while humming an upbeat tune and tapping his foot. He was an excellent cook and baker who enjoyed time spent in the kitchen creating elaborate spreads for family gatherings alongside his loved ones. His homemade pasta went perfectly with Linda’s spaghetti sauce. Pat enjoyed his time on the Saco River in his youth and had a great love for fishing that he shared with his children and grandchildren.

While Patrick was known for his no-nonsense approach to life, his lighthearted sense of humor had a way of lifting spirits during difficult times. He was a steadfast presence for his family, always putting their needs before his own—guiding, protecting, and embodying love and devotion. A natural caretaker, he offered unwavering support to listen, offer guidance, or take action to ease the burdens of those he loved, mentored and encountered. His love was unconditional, his support unwavering, and his strength a constant source of comfort.

He is predeceased by his mother- Olive Dennison and twin sister- Sherry Garris and son in law-Joey Allen. Pat is survived by his loving wife- Linda (Price) Dennison, his children- Mindy Littlefield and husband Ray of Portland, Nikki Allen and her boyfriend Peter Warren of Cornish, Teri Jergenson and husband Eric of Stockton Springs, John Dennison and wife Kim of Westbrook, Alex Dennsion of West Baldwin, Jeremy Dennison of West Baldwin, Nate Dennison of Limerick, and Izzy Dennison of Biddeford; brother Mike Dennison and wife Lynn of Hollis and their children Jamie, Zach, and Colby; sisters- Doreen Pinkham of Standish and her children Kayla and Laken, and Bonnie LaPointe and husband Michael of Sebago; nephew David - son of Sherry; cherished in laws- Ted and Susan Price of Connecticut and their children Jasen and Steve.
