Leone, Rose J. (DiVirgilio) of Dedham, April 12, 2025. Age 97. Beloved wife of the late Gaetano F. Leone. Loving mother of Michael F. Leone of Plymouth and the late Rosemary A. Leone. Loving grandmother of Vincent M. Leone of Acushnet and Dominic J. Leone of New Bedford. Sister of the late Louis DiVirgilio, Nicholas DiVirgilio and Mary Williams. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Rose was a retired secretary for Dedham Public Schools and former prefect and member of St. Mary Sodality.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. Dedham on Tuesday, April 15, from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, April 16, at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 9am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Rose’s memory to the charity of your choice.
