Obituary

CHICOPEE – Noreen F. (Bowler) Rouillard, 76, of Chicopee Falls, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, March 29, 2025. She passed into Eternal Life at Daybrook village in Holyoke surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on April 28, 1948, a beloved daughter of the late Thomas J. and Jeannette F. (Peloquin) Bowler. She was raised and educated in Chicopee and was a lifelong resident. She was employed at many places including Uniroyal, Kirby Vacuum Company, and at the Westover Base Exchange. Noreen spent countless hours volunteering at the Baystate Children’s Hospital. She loved to cook for her family, tell a good joke, crafting and collectibles, and watching sports. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family most especially her grandchildren whom she adored so much. She leaves her beloved husband and best friend, Roger J. Rouillard. They were married at Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee on May 21, 1982 and they were blessed with over 42 years of happiness together. She also leaves her three loving and devoted children, Richard D. Dupuis and his wife, Pamela, of Chicopee, David T. Dupuis and his wife, Suzanne, of West Springfield, and Roger J. Rouillard, Jr. and his wife, Shannon, of Ludlow; her eight cherished grandchildren, Kevin and Cameron Dupuis, Lori, Jolene, Andrea, and David Dupuis, and Sophia and Austin Rouillard; her several cherished great grandchildren; her dear brother, Brian Bowler of Holyoke; her three dear sisters, Kathleen Pierog of Chicopee, Debra Bowler of Holyoke, and Pamela VanTassel and her husband, Scott, of Granby; her three dear sisters-in-law, Lynn Bowler and Judy Bowler, both of Chicopee, and Joan Benoit and her husband, Charles Walker, of Agawam; her dear brother-in-law, Philip Rouillard of Boston; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved son, Craig Dupuis; her dear sister, Carol LaFleur; her three dear brothers, Thomas, Gary, and Kevin Bowler; and her two dear brothers-in-law, Daniel Pierog and William Rouillard. A private Liturgy of Christian Burial was held for her family at Sainte Rose de Lima Church which was followed by her burial at Sainte Rose Cemetery both in Chicopee.
