SANBORNTON ---- James (Jim) Doyle Alders, 57, of March Road, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Maine Medical Center. He died peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.
Jim was born on February 3, 1968, in Boston, MA, the son of the late Doyle Chaille and Elizabeth Alders (Greene). Belmont, NH was his home growing up, and he worked hard to achieve his lifelong dream of returning to the Lakes Region someday.
Jim was a selfless giver, always ready to do his best for his family, friends, and even strangers. There was nothing he couldn’t fix and no problem he couldn’t solve. Jim was smart, funny, creative, and compassionate. He had an eye for finding humor in almost any situation. His perspective and commentary will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to know him.
Jim was a dedicated family man and successful business owner. He enjoyed cars, skiing, music, cooking, camping, and playing with his dog Simon. Most of all he loved being outside having long conversations on the porch. He never missed an opportunity for a backyard BBQ, and his reputation for excellent food and hospitality were well earned.
Jim is survived by his wife Jill Alders; son Anthony Alders and daughter-in-law Abigail Mahoney; his son Jackson Alders; and brothers Jeff Chaille and John Alders.
Arrangements for a Celebration of Life will be made and communicated at a later time, allowing his family to grieve the loss of his cherished life.
