On Saturday, February 1st of 2025 Cheryl McDonald Johnson had suddenly passed at the age of 60 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston Massachusetts.
Cheryl was born in Waltham, MA, where she grew up until later moving to Brockton, MA, in 1996 later to marry her husband in 2007. Cheryl had a beautiful soul that held God true and close. You would always catch her sharing her love for her many pet cats and singing her heart out to Shania Twain. Writing down a recipe from the food network in some comfy pajamas or cooking up a meal with love. Cheryl’s favorite time of year was Christmas where she never failed to make her home look like Santa's wonderland. She also never failed to have a caring heart. To care for the ones around her and to share laughter with all.
Cheryl was loved by many including her husband Merle Johnson, her stepdaughter Eileen Johnson and her brother Larry McDonald. She leaves behind many others that hold her dear to their hearts, including her many aunts, uncles, cousins and her niece.
Family and friends are invited to Cheryl’s visiting hours on Saturday, April 26th from 1:00-3:00 PM followed by a 3:00 PM funeral service at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. All are invited back after the services for a celebration of life held from 3:00-6:00 PM at the American Legion Post 33, Legion Parkway, Whitman, MA.
