It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John McBride. John passed peacefully in his home surrounded by the love of his family after a lengthy and courageously fought battle with cancer. John is survived by his cherished family, Diane McBride (Delvecchio), his wife of 46 years, his son Jeremy McBride and fiancé Emily Martocchio, his son Kyle McBride and wife Erin Murphy, his daughter April McBride and his beloved grandchildren, Kennedy, Reagan, Taylor, Ryder and Archer.
John was born on June 29, 1957 in Weymouth Massachusetts, he is also survived by his loving mother Anita Costello (Payne) and her husband Edward Costello. John was blessed with many siblings, Darly McBride (deceased) and wife Kathryn McBride, Donald McBride, Timothy McBride, Tom and wife Diane McBride, Patricia Megna, Robert McBride and husband Daniel.
The legacy John leaves behind is apparent in the way he fiercely loved his children and absolutely adored his grandchildren. He ensured his family had precious memories of outings, holidays and vacations to Florida, Maine, North Conway and the Fryeburg Fair. In addition, John loved sports and found joy in betting on his favorite teams, horses and dogs. John also enjoyed bluegrass music and attending concerts. Spending quality time with his family was by far his favorite past time.
John was a dedicated employee of F.W. Webb for over 30 years and continued to work for the company up until his passing. John had the ability to connect with his customers and co-workers alike which made him a valued employee and friend.
John will be remembered by all that knew him for his kindness, generosity, contagious laughter and goodhearted spirit. He was a friend to many and truly loved by us all.
A private celebration of John’s life will be planned by his family at a later date to honor his legacy.
