Obituary

LIMERICK- “Butch” Carleton H. Pulcifur Jr., age 78, passed away at his home with his family at his side on April 8, 2025.
He was born in Oakland, Maine on March 13, 1947, the son of the later Carleton and Shirley (Beach) Pulcifur and graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 1966. Butch proudly served in the US Army from 1966 – 1969 in Okinawa, attached to a missile unit.

Over his working years, Butch worked for PM Construction, Cianbro, and was the founder of C.H. Pulcifur & Son Construction.

Butch will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, sportscars, and traveling. He enjoyed the time he had together with his wife at their place in Florida.

Butch was a member and served as a senator for the Jaycees.

Butch is survived by his beloved wife- Brenda (Hanson) Pulcifur; daughter- Michelle Ward and her husband Eric of Tamworth, NH; and grandchildren- Travis and Chelsea.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday April 18th, from 2 – 4 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. At the conclusion of visiting hours, there will be a time of sharing, followed by US Army Honors.
