Ronald N. Fleury, 97, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, at the Veterans' Home of Holyoke, surrounded by his family. Born on September 16, 1927, in Holyoke, he was the son of the late Odilon and Leda (Couture) Fleury. Ronald honorably served in the United States Navy. He later dedicated over 40 years of service to the Chicopee Electric Light Department, where he retired as a respected Supervisor. Ronald was a lifelong resident of Chicopee before moving to the Veterans’ Home, He was an avid golfer and found joy in the simple pleasures: tending to his yard, cheering on UConn women’s basketball, and most of all, spending time with his beloved family. He leaves behind his devoted wife of nearly 75 years, Constance A. Fleury of Chicopee; three daughters: Pamela J. Bucalo of Agawam, Karen Archambault (Robert) of Connecticut, and Rhonda Touchette (Richard) of North Carolina. He is also lovingly remembered by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Ronald was predeceased by his daughter, Lynn Fleury, his son in law Joseph Bucalo and his grandsons, Ricky & EJ. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Veterans' Home for the exceptional compassion and dedication they showed Ronald over the past year and a half, we will forever be grateful to the staff of 4 East. Military honors will be rendered at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Arrangements are entrusted to the Grise Funeral Home.
