Matthew William Gallagher, 35, longtime Lowell resident passed away after a brief illness at Mass General Hospital. Matt was born 1/25/90 in Lowell son of Stanley J. Gallagher and Kathy R. (Fraize) Gallagher. He was educated in Lowell public schools. He was a handyman over the years. He loved dirt biking, playing basketball, rapping, music and swimming. Matt had a great sense of humor, he was known for living on the edge, he was generous, devoted, and had a big heart. He was extremely passionate especially for his kids, sister, and nieces and nephews.
Besides his father Stanley and mother Kathy he is survived by his children Alyaza, Na'zyah, Kendall, and Rio. His last surviving sibling and only sister Ashlynn and her children Aliyah, Jayviynn and Nylah. As well as many other nieces and nephews. Also close cousins and dear friends. He is predeceased by his brothers Jerry and Brian , his nephew Matthew and the mother of his children and true love Samanatha Bragdon.
