Obituary

Maggie A. (Webb) Spagnuolo, age 39, of Woburn, formerly of Florida, passed away on April 8, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Nicholas A. Spagnuolo.
Born in Miami, Florida, Maggie was the daughter of Herbert R. and Patricia (Grandin) Webb. She was raised and educated in Pembroke Pines, FL and was a graduate of Flanagan High School. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and moved north to UMass Amherst to earn her Master's of Education.
Maggie remained in Massachusetts after UMass and enjoyed a successful teaching career in the greater Boston area, mainly in the Chelsea and Medford school systems. As her illness progressed, she scaled back her duties but was never far from a classroom. Her most recent position as a substitute teacher and lunch monitor kept her close by at her daughter’s school.
In her spare time, Maggie enjoyed traveling. Her excellent vacation planning skills granted her the family license to arrange and carry out many memorable trips, the latest of which included Italy and Jamaica. She could always be found envisioning the next destination.
In addition to her devoted husband, Nick, and her parents, Maggie is lovingly survived by her daughter, Seraphina R. Spagnuolo. She was also the cherished sister of Sarah W. Garcia and her husband Richard, and Randall R. Webb, all of Florida.
There will be no formal ceremony or services. Visiting Hours will be held in the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Saturday, April 12, from 3-5PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maggie’s memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at https://www.dana-farber.org.
