It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Henry Kislauskis, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who departed this life leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication.
Henry's journey began after World War II, when he immigrated to the United States at the tender age of 13. Settling in Brockton, Massachusetts, Henry embraced his new homeland with open arms and a determined spirit. He proudly served in the US Army, exemplifying bravery and commitment.
In Brockton, Henry built not just a life, but also a thriving business as a partner in Archie's Oil on Montello Street Bridge. Henry earned the admiration of thousands of loyal customers throughout the Brockton area. He held great respect for working-class families, often going above and beyond by servicing their oil burners in the dead of night during the harsh winters.
Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Dianne of Brockton, and four devoted children: Edward & partner Marci of Duxbury, Paul & wife Tara of Kingston, Christine of Brockton, Denise & fiancé Nelson of Pembroke. He was the cherished grandfather to Caitlin & husband Burt, Paul Jr., Alexa, Hunter, Evan and Nolan and great grandfather to Killian.
Beyond his professional life, Henry found joy in social travels, exploring the roads in his motorhome. He cherished weekends meeting friends along the Cape Cod Canal and Sagamore Beach in Plymouth, forging lifelong friendships. His dedication extended beyond business; Henry was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family. His pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren was boundless, and family holiday gatherings in his Brockton home were moments treasured by all.
Henry Kislauskis was the embodiment of the American dream, a testament to hard work, perseverance, and the pursuit of happiness. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know him. His spirit continues to inspire, and his memory will forever be cherished.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton, Wednesday April 16th from 9-11 am. Followed by Funeral Services at 11 am. Burial will be held privately.
