Son of Mary (Pacheco) Arruda and the late Antone Arruda. He has lived in Fall River and Swansea returning to Fall River 3 years ago. Before retiring, He worked as a Machine Operator for Globe Mfg. After retiring, he also worked part-time for Seabra Supermarket in Swansea. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
