John M. Monska, age 76, passed away on April 2, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 9, 1948 in Northampton, son of the late John S. Monska and Caroline (Larose) Wright. John was an active member of the Christ Life Fellowship Church in South Hadley. He worked at Stop and Shop for many years before he retired. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He is survived by his wife Elyse M. (Bilodeau) Monska of Chicopee; two daughters, Kelli Lemelin and her husband Ron of Chicopee and Ami Vega and her husband Chris of Edinburg, VA; four sisters, Mae Benoit and her husband Ron of Kansas; Kathy McCollum and her partner Ron Shaw of Belchertown, Grace Burek and her husband Gery of Ludlow and Karyn Philibotte and her husband Sam of Palmer; his sister in law Aline Bilodeau of NC; four grandchildren, Victoria, Samuel, Nathaniel and Gabriel and two great grandchildren Ruth and Joshua and 8 nieces and nephews.
