Patricia K. Peloquin, 77, of Warwick died peacefully Monday March 31, 2025 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the loving wife of the late Ronald J. Peloquin who passed away in 2008.
Born in Woonsocket and raised in Manville she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Florence (Ouellette) Healey. Patricia attended St. Anne’s Academy in Marlboro, MA. She went on to earn her Associates Degree from Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI).
Northern Rhode Island was home for Patricia as she resided in Manville, Cumberland and North Smithfield for most of her life and in recent years lived in Warwick.
In her earlier years Patricia worked at King House and Diamond Hill Nursing Home in Woonsocket. She was a licensed certified social worker at Zambarano Hospital in Burrillville for many years before retiring.
Patricia was a member of the Women’s Business Association.
Patricia was talented at ceramics and was avid bingo player. She loved to cuddle up with a good book and was always up for a spontaneous shopping trip. Patricia was a devout Catholic and lifelong member of St. James Parish in Manville. Her faith was a very important aspect of her life and she liked to tune into EWTN for religious and devotional programing. Patricia was proud of her recovery and maintaining her sobriety.
Patricia will be remembered for her love for her family, babysitting her grandchildren was one of her most treasured times.
Patricia is survived by her three sons Neal Peloquin of Georgia, Kevin Peloquin of Woonsocket and Eric Peloquin and his wife Ana of Florida and her daughter Marguerite Jassay of Warwick. She was the sister of Thomas Healey and his wife Lucille of Woonsocket, David Healey of North Smithfield and Sandra Marien of Lincoln. Patricia was the proud grandmother of Atalanta Pendragon, Adrianna Smith, Brian, Jonathan and Hannah Peloquin and great-grandmother of Kadence Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Everyone is welcome to gather to honor, remember and celebrate Patricia's life at her funeral Tuesday April 8th at 9:00am from the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Monday from 4:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the American Lung Association www.lung.org
