Phyllis M. (Marino) Aurigemma, age 93, a resident of Tewksbury for 30 years, formerly of Medford, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Monday, April 1, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of Anthony P. Aurigemma, who passed away on September 30, 2006.
Born in Boston on August 27, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Marino and the late Fillipa (Baglio) Marino.
Phyllis was raised in Medford and attended Medford schools.
Following her marriage, she devoted her life to her late husband and raising her children.
Phyllis enjoyed reading, cooking, reciting her daily prayers, and loved being home with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
Family members include her children, Joseph J. Aurigemma, Linda J. Palladino and her husband Walter, and Lisa M. Connelly and her late husband John, all of Tewksbury: five grandchildren, Jillian M. and Joseph J. Aurigemma, Kristin N. Parnaby, Michelle M. DePaul and Sean A. Connelly: ten great grandchildren, Braydon and Landon Parnaby, Noah, Lucy, and Joseph Aurigemma, Olivia McGonagle, Marlee and Nate Williams, Maddie and Ava DePaul. Phyllis is the sister of Helen MacKinnon, of Wilmington and the late Rosaria “Rose” Palmieri. She leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Calling hours are Tuesday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, followed by a procession to St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Services will conclude with interment at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury.
