PATRICIA “PATTY” G. (CRUSAN) TURNER OBITUARY
Patricia “Patty” G. (Crusan) Turner, 72, of Punxsutawney, PA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Mulberry Square Healthcare & Rehab Center in Punxsutawney, PA.
The daughter of Melvin E. and Evelyn V. (Jenkins) Crusan, she was born on September 14, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Patty attended Purchase Line High School. She married William Turner on February 14, 2006.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Some of her favorite pastimes were watching ministers on tv and listening to Gospel music. While at Mulberry Square, Patty enjoyed socializing at Coffee Club.
Blessed with a sweet soul and a friendly smile, Patty never met a stranger.
Patty is survived by her siblings: Mary Lou Cramer and husband Melvin of Cuba, MO; George Crusan and wife Reva of Cherry Tree, PA and Bonnie Van Meter and husband Ronald, Sr. of Hancock, MD; her special niece: Barbara Pearce and husband Murphy and several nieces, nephews; great nieces, great nephews and a great great niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William; her brothers: Leslie and David; her sister Charlene; her nephew: Ronald Van Meter, Jr. and her great nephew: Hunter Van Meter.
Family and friends will be received from 12:00 noon until the time of the 3:00 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. Pastor Jerry Spencer will be the officiant. Interment will be at Morningside Cemetery in DuBois, PA.. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
