Gail F. (Delliacono) Loura, age 76, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 21, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel C. Loura, who passed away in 1974.
Born in Attleboro, MA on September 20, 1948, she was a loving daughter of the late Victor and Phyllis (Francis) Delliacono.
A resident of Mansfield for most her life, Gail grew up in town, was a 1966 graduate of Mansfield High School and later received a certificate in cosmetology.
Family was the focal point of Gail’s life and the pleasure she received being around her adoring grandchildren was unmeasurable. Gail was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield, a talented seamstress and when younger, was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling in leagues.
She was the devoted mother of Scott J. Loura and his wife Cindy of Wrentham. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicolas Loura, John Loura and Mallory Loura, all of Wrentham. She was the dear sister of Joan Picciandra of Attleboro, Vicki Musto and her husband Peter of Walpole, Dorene Weiss and her husband Scott of Mansfield and Diane Darling of Fairhaven. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, April 6th from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 7th at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
