Thomas D. Verrochi, Jr., age 45, of Citrus Springs, Florida, formerly of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2025 in Clearwater, Florida.
Born in Norwood, Ma on April 30, 1979, he was a loving son of Thomas D. Verrochi, Sr. and his wife Karen of Mansfield, Massachusetts and Sandra A. Sloan and her husband Jack of Beverly Hills, Florida.
Tommy grew up in Mansfield and was a graduate of Mansfield High School. He continued his studies, graduating with an Associate Degree in Computers from the Katharine Gibbs School.
Tom had made his home in Florida for nine years and for the past several years was employed at Proline Tiles. He had formerly worked alongside his family, as a truck driver, at the former T.D. Verrochi, Inc in Mansfield.
Tom loved spending time amongst family and friends and simply worshiped and adored his nieces and nephews. He was an avid New England sports fan, and the Red Sox were always his favorite team to cheer on. Tommy also loved spending time at the beach and his hobbies included snowmobiling in Maine.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted brothers and sisters, Andrea Freitas and her husband David of Mansfield, Adam Sloan and his wife Jennifer of Mansfield, Nicholas Verrochi of Mansfield and Jamie DiChristofaro and her husband Jason of York, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, April 2nd from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 11:00 A.M.at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
