Edmée C Parisi, 93, died Sunday March 23, 2025 from natural causes in Johnston RI. She was born in New York, NY on October 7, 1931 to the late Leonce and Marie (Benoist) Champagne. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony T. Parisi, son Thomas E. Parisi and sister Lorraine A. Champagne.
She is survived by her children Michael J. Parisi and his wife Kimberly L. Gallagher, Julia M. Parisi and her husband Kenneth N. Highland, Clelia R. Parisi, James A. Parisi and his wife Rosemarie (Fazio) Parisi, and Camille (Parisi) Fieseher and her husband Stephen J. Fieseher. She is also survived by Thomas’s widow Teresa (Scimia) Parisi. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Anthony Parisi (Tracey), Christina Teear (Jack), Danielle Goldsmith (Ian), Stephanie Fieseher, Michael Fieseher, Joshua Fieseher, and Talia Parisi. Edmée is survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
Edmée was raised in the Bronx NY and attended Visitation School, St. Barnabus High School, and graduated from Hunter College. She married her husband Tony in 1954 and they lived in Newport News VA, Mount Vernon NY, White Plains NY and then settled in Simsbury CT with their six children. After Tony tragically died in 1968, Edmée and her children moved to New Rochelle NY where she lived until 2020. She worked as a travel agent, as a secretary for Holy Family Church, and as a clerk for the New Rochelle Police Department until she retired in 2010. Edmée was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her cat, classical music, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and museums. Edmée’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 28 at 10:30am in Holy Family Church, 83 Clove Road, New Rochelle, NY. Her burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 95 Kings Highway, New Rochelle, NY. Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on
