Obituary

Miguel Ocasio (Tite) was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico to Lima Gonzalez and Gregorio Cartagena Ocasio on November 1, 1941, both now deceased. Miguel passed away on March 20, 2025, in Milton, MA surrounded by his wife Marta Ocasio and family. Miguel, also known as “Tite” was the youngest son to Lina and Gregorio. Tite moved to the USA very young with the purpose of making a better life for himself and to send money back home to help his family. One of Tite’s first jobs was working in a flower farm where he worked on flower displays. Then he moved on to working in a stove factory. Tite had many odd jobs throughout his life. He later settled in Massachusetts to be closer to his father Don Bullo and his sister and family. Tite looked forward to summer because he could grow his garden, one of his favorite pastimes. He also spent a lot of time playing dominoes with Don Bullo and Che Juan, his brother also deceased, and with family and friends. He later met and married Martha, his wife whom he loved. Tite also accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He believes that it is only through Christ’s death and resurrection that we are saved by grace through faith. He attended The Spanish Church of God whose Pastor is Ramon Nicasio. Tite is survived by his wife Martha Ocasio, siblings Madeline Carrion, L. Esther Morales, Frank Ocasio, Angel L. Ocasio, Edwin Ocasio, Miguel Ocasio, and many nieces and nephews.
