Marconi De Paula Bomfim of Medway, MA died unexpectedly at the age of 50, on March 21st, 2025 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was the husband of Lura (Fay) Bomfim for 23 years.
Born October 27th, 1974 in Tarumirim, Brazil the son of the late Afrânio and Irenice (Paula Dias) Bomfim, Marconi was raised in Brazil before coming to the United States at the age of 18.
He lived in West Roxbury, MA for many years prior to moving to Medway in 2014.
Marconi had been the Director of Technology for Cambridge Savings Bank and previously worked for Eaton Vance Corporation.
Marconi enjoyed movies, music, spending time with family, and was an avid follower of his children’s sports teams over the years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, Katie, Annie, Sadie, and Owen Bomfim.
He is also survived by his many siblings, Mauro Jorge, Maurício, Marcílio, Marco Antônio, Afrânio Jr, Maurílio, Michel, Marinely, Maribel, Maria Inês, Maria Christina, & Mônica Bomfim, and was also the brother of the late Marcus Vinicius & Marcelo Bomfim.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 27th at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home ginleyfuneralhomes.com located at 3 Barber Street, Medway, MA from 4:00-7:00 PM.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 28th at St. Joseph Church in Medway, MA at 10:00 A.M.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway, MA.
