Richard M. Greenberg, age 64, of Abington, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Champion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton. He was the husband of DeeDee G. Piver.
Born in Boston and raised in Holbrook, he was the son of Robert Greenberg and the late Ida (Gouner) Greenberg.
He was a graduate of Blue Hills Regional Technical School and attended Massasoit Community College.
Richard worked as a computer operations manager in the court reporting industry for many years.
An avid bowler, he played in a candlepin bowling league for 25-30 year at Abington Timberlanes. He was a sports enthusiast who had a passion for collecting baseball cards.
His family meant the world to him, and they will remember his zest for life. He was a fun and respectful gentleman.
Besides his wife DeeDee, he leaves a stepdaughter, Kellie O’Boyle of Abington; a granddaughter, Kasey Mullen; two siblings, Marcia and David Greenberg; and his dog Sunshine.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Richard’s family on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte.123) Brockton. There will be an announcement at the conclusion of the service where the Celebration of Life will be held.
