Obituary

BUXTON- Janice Mae (Grant)(Davis) McLoughlin, was born to Stanley K. Grant I and Mary Francis L. Wilson on May 5, 1954, passed away peacefully at the age of 70. On March 15, 2025, at 7:29 pm surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.

She was a loving Mother, Grandmother (Nanny As she liked to be called), Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend.

She grew up on Main St. in the town of Westbrook but spent a lot of her summers at her parent’s camp on Sebago Lake or out on Peaks Island where her grandparents and aunt lived, as a young Girl. She always loved the water. For all those that knew her she was a free spirit that lived and traveled around the US, but for those lucky ones that got to hear her stories you would think she traveled the world always looking for that special fairy tale of her own. She made a lot of friends along the way.

She is survived by two sisters, Iris Newalu and Jae Couture of Massachusetts and one brother Stanley K. Grant II of Sebago, along with several nieces and nephews. Her two children, Son Tylor J. Davis Sr. and his wife Tammy Davis of Buxton, and Daughter Valerie Larrabee and her husband Shawn Larrabee of Rumford, Nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She will be loved and missed by all those that knew her, and those that got to hear her stories of the world in her eyes, along with the friends that she made along the way. Though her adventure here is done, she is on to her next adventure. Fly high with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. Give everyone a sqwoodge for us all. Till we see you again. We all love and miss you so much rest in peace.
