Georgia L. Miller (Lombardi) age 93, of Brockton, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Frederick A. Miller, Jr.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Antonia (Ferullo) Lombardi of the North End of Boston.
Mrs. Miller was a resident of Brockton for over 60 years. She was most proud of her family who were raised here. She enjoyed taking ceramics classes. Often, the whole family would all receive gifts of her creative work. These gifts now are very precious. Georgia had a loving and pure heart. Boy, could she keep a secret too!
Georgia was employed by Stop & Shop in Abington as an office worker for 29 years, local # 54. She received the awards of “Have a Good Day” Society, awarded to her for developing a reputation for being courteous and a friendly person who displays a real concern for each and every customer and also the “Most Valuable Players”. Georgia was also awarded the “All Stars” for outstanding performance and significant contribution to the Stop & Shop store team.
She leaves two sons, Frederick J. (Ricky) and wife Candace of East Taunton, David A. and his late spouse Eileen (O’Neil) of Brewster; a daughter, Anne Marie (Miller) and husband Mark Frisina of Jupiter, FL; five grandchildren, Gregory Miller, Nicole Cabral, Brendin and Patrick Miller, and Eric Frisina. Georgia also leaves two great grandchildren Liam Cabral and Emeri Hamm. She was the sister of the late John S. Lombardi of Norwood and Patricia Sacco of Brockton.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 9:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:45 am, at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
