Scot A. Johnson, age 68, of Norton. Passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the St Antoine Residence in North Smithfield, RI He was the beloved husband of Dara N. (Nickerson) Johnson, to whom he was wed on October 1, 2004.
Born in Attleboro, MA on September 14, 1956, he was a loving son of Audrey M. (Marien) Howell of Norton and the late Howard Johnson.
Scot grew up and was educated in Norton. He was a 1974 graduate of Norton High School, where he was an stand-out football player and was affectionately nicknamed “Curley”. Scot spent most of life living in Norton and had also resided in Brimfield.
Scot’s working career was spent in the construction field and for over thirty years, was employed at Plumb House in Milton. Scot loved spending time with his adoring family and for fifteen years was a proud participant of the Pan-Mass Challenge. Scot’s other hobbies included working out daily at the gym, fishing with his children and hunting.
In addition to his beloved wife and loving mother, he is survived by his devoted children, Amanda Johnson of West Springfield and Daniel Johnson and his wife Heather of Brimfield. He was the cherished grandfather of Finley Johnson of Brimfield. He was the dear brother of Lori Betts of Attleboro, Shari Rose of Norton and the late Barry Johnson.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of his life at a future date and place to be announced.
