David M. Kroll
April 17, 1968- March 13, 2025
David M. Kroll, 56, passed away on March 13, 2025 from a tragic cycling accident. Cycling was his favorite activity and although his untimely passing is extremely difficult, he was doing what he enjoyed most.
He was born on April 17, 1968 in South Bend, IN to Terrance and Marcia Kroll. He graduated from Penn High School in the class of 1986. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1990. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Industrial Systems Manufacturing Engineering from Kettering University in 1998, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Regis University in 2001.
Dave started his career in 1990 at Delco Remy, in Anderson, IN as a Process Engineer and worked there for over 8 years. He also worked at Roche Diagnostics and BorgWarner. Most recently, he was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Allison Transmission, in Indianapolis, IN.
He was a very active member at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Anderson, IN. He was also very involved in the local Knights of Columbus Council #563.
He enjoyed cycling, watching his favorite sports teams including the Chicago White Sox, Green Bay Packers and Purdue basketball, cooking on the grill, and spending time with friends and family.
He was a proud resident of Pendleton, IN and had lived there for 21 years.
Dave is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Ana Kroll of Pendleton, IN; his parents, Terrance and Marcia Kroll of South Bend, IN; his brother, Doug Kroll (wife, Linda) of San Diego, CA; his nephew, Evan Kroll (fiancé, Natalia Carrasco) of San Diego, CA; his niece, Megan Kroll of San Diego, CA. Dave will also be deeply missed by his mother-in-law, Rosario Martinez as well as 4 sisters-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law along with their kids, and many others relatives and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Anderson, IN. Burial will take place following at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson, IN.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, IN. There will be a Knights of Columbus Council #563 service following the visitation at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
