With heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Pagan Sandel, of Brockton, who departed this world on March 10, 2025 at the age of 75. David was born on May 1, 1949 in Patillas, Puerto Rico, son of the late Luz Dehlia Villanueva and Laureano Pagan. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death.
David was known for his dedication, integrity, and heart. He worked as a maintenance man for Brockton Housing Authority for 20 plus years. He was an avid fisherman who could often be found at the local store playing his daily numbers. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and grandchildren. His warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor will be sincerely missed by all who knew him.
David’s passing will be felt by many including his partner for 30 plus years and mother to his 4 children, Anna Carroll of Brockton. He is survived by Jason Carroll of Brockton, David (Pupa) Carroll of Brockton, Tianna Pagan of Houston, Brittany Pagan of Brockton; his five wonderful grandchildren, Iyana Carroll, Zaria Carroll, Layla Rice, Jayden Rice, and Olivia Pagan, and his amazing great-grandchild, Zavion Carroll. As well as several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He will be missed immensely.
Viewing services will be held on Thursday March 20, 2025, at Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, from 4-7 pm. His ashes will then be brought home to Puerto Rico for resting by his children.
