William B. Thibeault, 63

Dateline: Norton, MA

William B. Thibeault, age 63, 0f Norton, formerly of Canton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Accent Care Inpatient Hospice Center in Milton.

Born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on March 1, 1962, he was a loving son of Carmen B. (Ballard) Thibeault of Norton and the late William J. Thibeault.

Bill grew up and was educated in Beverly and Canton and was a 1981 graduate of Canton High School. He had made his home in Norton for the past eleven years and had been employed for over fifteen years as an ATM Technician for Loomis Armored Services.

Bill’s favorite times were those spent in the presence of his adoring family and was always happiest when surrounded by his nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and skeet shooting and was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Sharon Rod and Gun Club.

Bill will always be remembered for his passion and being well-stocked with firewood and his love for spending time by his fireplace. He was also a talented CB radio operator and enjoyed the simple pleasures of watching television, his favorite shows being the Walton’s and older horror movies. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, he was the devoted brother of Marie-Helene Bissel of Randolph, James W. Thibeault and his wife Patricia of Norton and Robert K. Thibeault and his wife Janette of Easton. He was the treasured uncle of Amanda, Allison, James. Timothy, Melissa and Jayden and the cherished great uncle of Cole, Dominic, Jackson, Matthew, Faith, Maxton. Aurora and Travis.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, March 21st from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Routre 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 3:00 P.M. on Friday at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, William’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street #250, Framingham, MA 01701.
