LIMINGTON- Peggy Kelsen Fickett, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 11 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Throughout her life, Peggy was a shining example of faith, resilience, and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Debbie Kelsen, and her sons, Michael Kelsen and Ronald Kelsen. Peggy was blessed with seven grandchildren: Michael Jr., Brittney, Joshua, Nolan, Samuel, Joseph, and Noah, as well as four great-grandchildren: Anella, Xanda, Ashlee, and Mike III, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
Peggy’s Christian faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through challenges and inspiring her to overcome obstacles with grace. She embraced life’s adventures wholeheartedly, creating cherished memories during her days in the sun at Lake Havasu, Arizona, where she loved kayaking and dancing. Her spirit of adventure and zest for life were contagious, and she approached each day with enthusiasm and kindness.
Peggy’s generosity, with her time and unwavering support for her family and friends, will always be remembered. As we celebrate her life, we honor her legacy of love, faith, and adventure.
A memorial service will be held at Living Waters Church, 197 Parker Farm Rd., Buxton, Maine 04093, on Saturday April 5th at 11 AM, followed by a celebration of life in the church’s Sanctuary.
