Mr. Ernest H. Bourassa, 85, of Methuen, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Lawrence General Hospital, the son of the late Ernest and Marie (Parent) Bourassa. Ernest was born in Methuen on March 25, 1939, and had been an area resident all his life. He retired from Sears and Roebuck, where he worked in appliance repair and service. In his younger years, Ernest enjoyed carpentry work and coaching baseball in his free time. Ernest's greatest joy was spending time with Ellen and the family they created together. Whether going to ball games or concerts or seeing everyone during the holidays, he loved being surrounded by family. Ernest is survived by his loving partner of 48 years, Ellen Polizzotti of Methuen; three daughters, Kimberley Conway-Callery and her husband, Stephen Callery of Windham, NH; Farraha and her husband, Jeffrey Kayo of Pelham, Nh, and Lynsie and her husband, Matthew Clink of Pelham, NH. There are two sons: Joseph Polizzotti and his wife Laurie of Sandown, NH, Shane Bourassa and his wife Erika of Methuen, MA. There are fifteen grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
