He was the father of the late Beth Ellen Desrosiers and Erin Lee Parker and brother of the late Charlotte Toddings. He was the uncle of the late Kevin David Toddings.
His cousin Christine Earle's special gift of her kidney gave David almost 18 additional years of life, and what a life it was as he shared so much of himself with his family and friends. David's life is marked by his generosity and good humor, his joke of the day email, his willingness to lend a helping hand while assuring that his crooked pinky finger would not be a hindrance.
Adventure was out there and so was David whether it be by air, car, on his motorcycle or on the ski slopes, he enjoyed these experiences with friends and loved to share stories of his adventures and misadventures.
There was never a need for a special occasion to have a party at McPecker’s Pub, David and Paula’s happy place, where friends and family were invited to celebrate good food and music while fostering new friendships. David was known for inviting strangers to his home instinctively knowing that they would fit right in.
At Karaoke parties David always requested his favorite song “Tom Dooley by the Kingston Trio. Today we “hang down our heads” in honor of you David.
Celebration of life to be held in June.
