Joyce S. (Shumsker) Bianco, age 73, of Tewksbury passed away on Wednesday, March 5th, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. Raised in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Sydney and Shirley (Horovitz) Shumsker. Joyce was an adoring wife and mother, and loved her family. She was funny and kind, and enjoyed travel - especially cruising - and attending weddings and parties, where she could dress to the nines. Joyce was also a lifelong animal lover.
Joyce was the beloved wife of Nicholas Bianco, and the devoted mother of Andrew Bianco. She was the dear sister of Leslie Shumsker and her husband Jerry, and Elen Sirois and her husband Bill. Joyce was the sister-in-law of Edward Bianco, Annette Lombardo and her husband Carmen, and Joseph Bianco and his wife Carol. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
According to the wishes of her family, Joyce’s services will be held privately.
