Obituary



Vincent F. Maiorano, 67, of Worcester, died on Thursday, March 6th at UMass Memorial Hospital – University Campus. He leaves his loving wife of 40 years, Carol (Hart) Maiorano; a sister, Paula J. Paldino of Worcester; sister-in-law, Janice Maiorano; two nephews, Michael and Steven Paldino; and his Godson, Brandon Paluses. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Ruth (Scarcello) Maiorano; and a brother, Steven Maiorano.

He was born in Worcester, Vincent dedicated his life to his family, work, and the simple joys that made him truly happy. Vincent worked in maintenance at the Worcester Courthouse for 40 years, where his strong work ethic and commitment to his duties earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. He retired in 2012, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. Outside of work, Vincent was known for his love of family and his fondness for the beach. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones at Hampton Beach and Horseneck Beach, where he could relax and enjoy the beauty of the ocean. His love of the outdoors extended to his passion for dancing and roller skating, activities that brought him immense joy and allowed him to stay active throughout his life. Vincent was a simple man with a big heart. He was deeply loving and caring, always putting the needs of others before his own. His kindness, sense of humor, and ability to make those around him feel special will be missed by all who knew him.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th beginning at 9:00am in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street. Calling hours will be on Sunday, March 9th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the funeral home.
