Obituary

PARSONSFIELD— Scott “Scooze” Allan Thompson, age 56, passed away on March 3, 2025, unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Portland, Maine on March 12, 1969, the son of Daniel and Alice (Harmon) Thompson.
For over 20 years, Scott worked for Limerick Steeple Jacks. He climbed, sand blasted, and painted hundreds of water tanks and churches all over New England. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage on various snowmobiles, 3-wheelers or anything with a motor that he could ride around with his children. Scott could rebuild any motor set in front of him.
He is predeceased by his mother, Alice (Harmon) Thompson.
Scott is survived by his father - Daniel Thompson of Parsonsfield; his children - Scott Thompson Jr of Limerick, Kayla Thompson of Limerick, Dyllan Thompson and significant other Annie Lajoie of Parsonsfield, Brandon Thompson and fiancé Autumn Carr of Limington, Brittani Thompson and significant other Thomas Spinney of Parsonsfield; sisters - Angela (Thompson) Wilmont and husband Jeremy Wilmont, Amy (Thompson) Bourne and husband Wesly Bourne; granddaughters Genasis Spinney and Tilli Thompson; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Liberty Bay Recovery Center, 343 Forest Ave, Portland, ME 04101 in Scott’s honor.
