Obituary

Grace Minnie (Taylor) Medor, 98, of Nashua, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 4th at Langdon Place. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth R. Medor, Sr., with whom she shared over 78 years of marriage.

She was born on June 25, 1926 in Hantsport, Nova Scotia, Canada and was a daughter of the late George Taylor and the late Lucy Taylor. The family emigrated to the United States when she was 2 years old, settling in the Cambridge area where she was raised and educated.

Following high school  she was married and began to raise a family of her own. When her children were grown she entered the workforce and had a career for a number of years with Microwave in Burlington and also Wang Laboratories in Tewksbury before her retirement in the 1980’s. She spent her retirement traveling the country and cruising with her husband, Ken. They also lived in Sun City Center, Florida for over 30 years.

Grace loved arts and crafts, in particular painting and crocheting. She was quick witted, had a wonderful sense of humor and a feisty personality. Being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother was her life's legacy and she was so very proud of her wonderful family.

Besides her devoted husband of nearly 79 years, Kenneth R. Medor Sr., she is survived by her daughters, Janice Medor of Nashua, NH and Sandra Halloran and her husband, Philip, of Casco, ME, her son, Kenneth R. Medor and his wife, Georgianne, of Windham, NH. Her grandchildren, James Rutledge and his wife, Tammy of Groton, Robert Rutledge and his wife, Susan, of Pelham, NH,  Kerry DeSisto and Paul Maigatter, of Nashua, NH, Lori Jackson of Nashua, NH, Kristen Vazquez and her husband, Edward, of Townsend, Joshua Medor and his wife, Joanna, of Wilmington, Jeffrey Medor and his wife, Jessica, of Tewksbury. Her great grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, Kenney, Danielle, Cody, Jillian, Alexandra, Philip, Madison, Lydia, Henry and Emily, her great great grandchildren, Malcolm and Evelyn.

She was also the sister of the late Percy Taylor and the late Gertrude Powers.

All are welcome to attend her visitation and funeral services on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Her visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA . Funeral service will take place immediately after at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
