Obituary


Joseph “Jack” Czarniak, age 82, died February 28, 2025 at the Brockton Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Carolyn (Stockbridge) Czarniak for 60 years. Born and raised in Boston, he was the son of the late Zygmunt and Loretta Czarniak.
Jack was a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School and Newberry Junior College in Boston and served in the US Army. For many years, he was an electronics technician at Adage Inc. in Boston.

Jack’s hobbies included painting, fishing and making all types of models and he was a WWII history buff. He was very proud of his Polish heritage and most importantly, he enjoyed time spent with his family.

Jack was the father of Robert Czarniak and his wife Paige of E. Bridgewater, Keith Czarniak and his wife Jenny of Arizona as well as Scott Czarniak and his wife Lynn of Halifax. He was proud of his 8 grandchildren. Jack was the brother of the late Edward Czarniak.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 9-10:30am at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte123) Brockton followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 11am and then burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, Jack’s family suggests a donation to the Boston Carmelite Nuns, 61 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Roxbury, MA 02119.
