Mr. Timothy Michael Garvey, age 73 of Woburn MA, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday afternoon, March 2, 2025, in Peabody.
Tim was born in Rochester, New York the son of the late Robert C. Garvey and Shirley (Hughes) Garvey. He graduated from Saint Bernard’s High School in Fitchburg in 1969 and then went on to Curry College in Milton, where he earned his undergraduate degree.
Survived by current partner; Gary Huang, of Woburn, former wife; Linda Cangiano,
daughter; Katherine and son-in-law; Barry McGonagle as well as his son; Patrick Garvey
and fiancee; Aimee Larkin Birch. He also leaves behind three grandchildren; James,
Chloe and Adam McGonagle. Tim was also he brother of David, Mary, Susan, Peter, Christopher and the late Gregory.
Tim’s greatest passion in life was people and he worked tirelessly for many years as a
Real Estate Agent for Berkshire Hathaway in Winchester, finding many clients their
forever home. He was an avid reader and singer, belonging to the Medford Community
Chorale group and supported the BSA having been an Eagle Scout himself.
Tim will be remembered as a loving father and spouse, a dedicated employee and
someone who loved a reason to get together with those he loved.
Tim's funeral will be held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be privately held.

Easter Seals.
